Microfinanzas BBVA Foundation

The Corporación para las Microfinanzas - Puerto Rico was set up on October 21, 2008 together with the Banco de Desarrollo Económico para Puerto Rico (BDE). The Corporation, which has a banking license, is currently
in the process of development.

The BBVA Microfinance Foundation holds 75% of the shareholder capital, with the Banco de Desarrollo Económico para Puerto Rico holding the remaining 25%.
